How I can Help

You may be interested in therapy because you want to make deep changes in your life and relationships, or to address patterns that are unhelpful or leave you feeling “stuck.” Maybe you are wanting to explore your sense of self and who you are, or want to better understand the painful or traumatic experiences that have happened to you. Maybe you simply want to feel more at peace with yourself and the world, and to develop the emotional tools to live a rich and meaningful life. Whatever you are searching for, I strive to provide clients with a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and flexible space for us to be curious and safely challenging.

I have worked in community mental health since 2020, working with adults, children, and families. Prior to this, I worked in assistance programs for victims of violent crime and abuse for the state of Massachusetts. I received my Master of Social Work degree from Simmons University, and clinically trained in major mental illness residential programs as well as college counseling, providing both individual and group work. I am well-versed in a number of specialized treatment approaches which I continue to pursue and use in my work, including:

  • Psychoanalysis/analytic psychotherapy

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

  • Psychodynamic and relational psychotherapy

  • Trauma-informed and early attachment based work

Billing and Insurance

I can bill your insurance directly for our work together, and I also offer a sliding-scale for self-pay clients. I am credentialed with a number of insurers including:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield

  • Aetna

  • Tufts (commercial and public plans)

  • Harvard Pilgrim

If your insurer is not listed here, please reach out to me as I may already be in the process of becoming credentialed with them. Additionally, many insurers offer some level of out-of-network (OON) reimbursement that may allow for you to submit for reimbursement.

If finances are a challenge, please do reach out to me to discuss what we might do to make this work possible for you.
